Imaging supplies remanufacturer and electronics recycling group Clover Imaging Group has appointed new leadership.

Former COO George Milton has been made CEO. He replaces Jim Cerkleski who held the role for the past 17 years.

Milton joined Clover back in 2004, and has served as COO since 2006. During his tenure, he drove the group’s diversification into wireless and telecoms, and helped scale global manufacturing and distribution, overseeing 27 acquisitions. He brings to role 25 years of experience in the OP industry and has held senior positions at some of the sector’s largest distributors.

Milton said: “I am excited to continue building on our strong market position and global footprint, and look forward to the opportunities ahead. As a priority, I will ensure that we continue our focus on providing quality and value, as well as supporting the new business strategies of our customers.”

Cerkleski, who is to become Chairman of the board, commented: “Now is the right time for me to transition the leadership of our imaging business to George, who has been a tremendous COO and colleague over the past 13 years.”

Cerkleski led the transformation of the firm from a local printer cartridge repair company to a global remanufacturer of imaging supplies. Under his leadership, annual sales grew from under $2 million to almost $1 billion.
