NOPA has now designed a visually appealing and memorable icon, similar to the branded icons of the “big box” players who now have their logos with hyperlinks to their websites at the bottom of many manufacturers’ websites. The new NOPA Independent Dealer Locator icon contains a hyperlink that, when placed on a manufacturer’s website, will drive end-users to the NOPA website to find the closest office product dealers using the new IDOL tool.
With more than 800 independents in NOPA’s membership today, it’s a sure bet that visitors to either a participating manufacturer’s website or the NOPA website will find a competitive local dealer in their market to supply them.
Using this IDL Buy Local button on their websites, manufacturers can demonstrate their commitment to the independent dealer market and further promote their brands and product sales through dealers to commercial end-user consumers in a way never before available. This service will initially be offered exclusively to NOPA members, with participating manufacturers contributing a modest fee to obtain a link and access to the service.
NOPA dealer members receive a free listing that – with this new tool in place – will help them boost their visibility, increase online sales and drive more traffic from end users and businesses looking to buy from local dealers known for their superior customer service.
